The claim is false. And it has been false since March.
The article the claim came from was a study on the effect of solar flares in the Thermosphere.

Did you read the NASA study. It talks about heating of certain molecules when they are struck by particles from a coronal mass ejection that hit the earth. It had nothing to do the the relection of CO2 an NO in the upper atmosphere.
Facts can be a bit inconvenient.

The shock revelation starkly contradicts the core proposition of the so-called greenhouse gas theory which claims that more CO2 means more warming for our planet. However, this compelling new NASA data disproves that notion and is a huge embarrassment for NASA’s chief climatologist, Dr James Hansen and his team over at NASA’s GISS.
Wow such bad yellow journalism
Global warming is about trapping long wave radiation in so this means nothing and yea dude most of the suns radiation is always blocked by the atmosphere we would fry otherwise

its the interpretation form a dumb journalist who cannot tell the difference between upper atmosphere and where humans live-on the surface. The NASA research does not CO2 cools the earth. Maybe you should read the original research yourself.

You would research this issue before believing right wing blogs. They have been repeatedly debunked by actual scientists at NASA. http://wattsupwiththat.com/2013/03/28/a-misinterpr...

You have been debunked by a website called Whats up with that? LOL
Maybe they will point to SNL next!
