There are good websites to learn Spanish for free. Of course studying with a teacher is always a good idea and you can use the content of the website to reinforce what you learn with your teacher. Spanish Learning Lab is a very good website to learn Spanish for free with communicative lessons. There you can learn a lot about different topics through several examples, listening activities, grammar tips, interactive quizzes, pictures and more. By the way, I should say "You are welcome" (I meant "De nada"). Buena suerte!!!

    AAAAAAAAAAAH DuoLingo!

I just found it a couple days ago and it is the best FREE site I've found :D

http://www.duolingo.com/ Check it out now if you've got time yo.

Another great site is http://lang-8.com/ where you can practice your writing skills and make foreign friends. Check out http://www.viki.com/ where you can watch shows and movies from around the world with a variety of subtitles. (It's mostly Asian stuff but they've got Spanish and Mexican stuff too).

I know of some other sites but they aren't free. That should be enough to get you started. :)

Best way to learn spanish I think is to find a smart native speaker/friend that is fluent to learn it through conversation. Most websites have flaws or charge too much

Two of the best free online Spanish language courses :

There are also the public domain Spanish language courses developed by the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) of the US Department of State : http://fsi-language-courses.org/Content.php?page=S...
