Why are these people following me on tumblr?
Ok, this is a stupid, and fairly irrelevant question, but I am just curious. I'm new to tumblr, and I really only joined to see some of the gifs (they are hilarious to me) so I don't have a picture or background on there, and I don't even post anything. So, why are all these random people following me? As of now I have around 50 followers (only 5 of whom I follow) and it has me confused. Can other people see the things that I "heart" and follow me on that basis, or are these people just following me for the hell of it? Sorry if this is literally the dumbest question you've heard in a while, but this is just one of those things lol

Some people just follow other people for the hell of it because they think you have common interests based on the blogs you visited.I've got a twitter account so that I can follow a couple of reporters,columnists,comentators and polliticians.I've never once tweeted or re-tweeted anything and I've still got more than 30 followers.

That is exactly how it is for me on YouTube, lol.
I do not upload any videos, but I did subscribe to a lot of people, and I think that is how I ended up with 30+ subscribers, heh....
Yeah, I think they can.
I have a Tumblr too, specifically for following and liking things about nature. I don't think I'm going to post anything any time soon, heh.
