pre-employment drug testing?
So, I just did the interview for a job, and the supervisor told me that they would order a drug test and he told me where the test would be given. But, I was so nervous and ready to be done with the interview, that I didn't think to ask more questions about it. Do they usually call and tell you when to go to the drug test, or am I just supposed to head up there whenever I can? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just really don't want to call to just ask that.

Go to the screening place and ask them when you're scheduled. If they don't have your name, then call the company you've applied to. Don't do anything until you're ready. :) but get ready within the next three days or so.

More than likely they'll call you to schedule the drug test. I don't think they would just let you go at your own convenience because that would give people time to falsify the sample. Most business try to test people "off guard" so they don't have a chance to prepare. So I said all that to say, I think the supervisor will call you and let you know when to come take the test.

Why not call to ask that? Find out when you've got to go, if you get called in, or if you can go in at any time.
Also, make sure you don't have any alcohol in your system, they check for that, too.

I think it's something you should look into. Different companies operate in different ways. How could one phone call hurt? Just get it over with! :-)
