Serious Situation, if any psychiatrist reading it please HELP(Dad didn't agree to go for doctor)?
It's about my 24 year old fully adult Sister Rita. She is becoming violent to others day by day, always angry, saying bad things about family members to her so called friends. I have a fear that the way she is behaving she may cause harm to the rest of family members.
Background/History : We are 3 sisters. I am eldest (33) and the middle one (27) Paula . We both went to school and finished our grad. I am done with my Master degree and working with reputed CA farm. My career is of 11 years. We 2 sisters are absolutely normal with our life. My 3rd Sister Rita She still couldn't pass high school (A-level) because she can't remember what she read and this problem started 5/6 years back. She is very weak in Mathematics. She was slim & good looking but now she is gaining weight for over eating. She doesn't have any friend. Most of her friends can not stand her more than 5 minutes because she goes nuts. Last year she stole money from Moms purse as well Paula said she was loosing money from her purse and other places as well. Rita is addicted to Movies like Harry Potter & Twilight(God knows how many times she watched), also since she discontinued her study she stays at home all day browsing net and watching TV daily soaps. Last year she did another thing which i am pretty shocked, she tried to buy A-Level certificate since she couldn't pass. She suppose to get admitted in University back in 2011 but without passing high school she couldn't. It seems to be her mind is working ok.

Im not a doctor or psychiatrist of any sort, but this actually sounds a lot like my older sister. She has problems with her anger, she had trouble in school and ahe steals things. My sister is now 23. She is diagnosed with autism and aspurgers. I really recommend getting this checked out by a doctor of some sorts.

I'm a pharmacist. I think your sister has something inside she hide to you sisters. Some problems she keeps inside.
Beyond every anger action there is a heart broken inside. You should try to find out.

If this is in the U.S., and she is 24 (over 18) there is very little you can do. The options are to work with her and convince her to be evaluated for mental health concerns. If she is a danger to herself or others you may call the police; they may be able to initiate the process for a mental health evaluation or admittance to the emergency room for access to mental health services.
