If you only made 19K you're just stupid for not getting health insurance since it would have been nearly free if you live in a state that expanded medicaid...live in a state that didn't, like Texas, it would have cost something, but not much.

Trump ordered IRS to stop checking the penalty for Health Care, so if u havent filed u shud be OK.
After all when Clinton raised your taxes he made it retroactive, in spite of the constitution.

First that Obama Care Penalty, to be avoided, must be eliminated by Congress.
Don't count on it for your filing for the 2016 year but Trump may be able to say No penalties must be paid and make it retroactive. So far he has not done that.
If the Does do it some Liberal Judge will likely say it is unconstitutional for Trump to do that and then you would get stuck with an additional penalty.
Wait until the Law is Changed.

There are no new Trump laws that would affect your Obamacare requirement. You must still sign up for it or pay a penalty.

You DO have the right to reject it. I only make $20K (with a Master's and experience) and owed the government over a thousand dollars last year--first time ever. Let's hope Trump fixes this tax thing quick.

Just check the box that say you had insurance.
I doubt the IRS is really checking these things.
