How bad will crime get if Democrats ban all guns?

They aren't suggesting banning all weapons. They never have. Military weapons, however, should only be available to the military.

That hypothetical is totally ridiculous. Such a cry baby. You just make it up as you go. Any gun associated with weapons of war need not be in the hands of civilians, and that is one of the complaints. Your target & hunting weapons are NOT weapons of war. So no one has said "ban all guns" just morons like you.

In Australia 1996, gun violence dropped when assault rifles were banned and they turned in about 700,000 of them. Violent crimes by gun would drop precipitately if all guns were banned. Why? Because the mere possession would be illegal and those who had them would be arrested and put in jail.

And let's get it straight, we are gun owners ourselves, we liberals. I own a gun for self protection, but it's not an AR for waging war or committing mass murders. So we liberals are not for banning "all guns." That's just NRA fake news to scare you...seems like they've done a good job of that. But we are for banning weapons that have but one purpose...mass killings.

Remember its republicans that the attacks in schools are happening and they are lobbied and get monies from the NRA. Too bad another sock account of someone lies about guns again.

No one is calling for a ban on all guns. Just stricter national background checks, age limits, and tighter purchasing regulations.

We will just have a new type of commerce. The price of foreign guns sold out of car trunks will skyrocket. The drug lords will be able to diversify. We could conceivably have a 90% compliance rate with confiscation which means there will still be 30 million guns in households. Governments must disarm their citizens if they want to control them.

Calm down sparky there is nobody even suggesting such a thing. Instead of more fear-mongering maybe it is time to have a rational discussion on the subject, or is that even possible?
