Why does everybody use Kirby vacuum cleaners around here?

There is an area near my area, when I go to it, people strictly uses Kirby vacuum cleaners. They don't buy Wal-Mart vacs or any other vac and only use Kirby vacs.

Any reason for them only using Kirby vacs? Any reason at all?

    Why not. I have one and will get a replacement when one is NEEDED.

    It is about 50 years old and still sucks.

    Well, one reason is that last forever and are pretty cheap to get repaired. My wife and I have had one since the year 1999 or 2000.
