Is Detroit a nice city to live?

    Parts of it are quite nice, but expensive. It's got lake effect issues when it comes to weather, so if you're used to warmer climates it may be a shock.

    Couldn't get me to live there. I've had job offers but turned them down.

    I live just outside of Detroit. I love going downtown. I find the area far more affordable than other places I have lived. The people are friendly. If you don't like the cold, the winters may be rough for you.
