Are spirits real?

Question

My neighbor was in my house one day this week visiting me. That afternoon she got a call from her mom about her brother girlfriend passing away that morning from a blood clot to her lungs. She was smoker and possibly had heart problems! She was 44 years old. Anyway I had opened my sliding door to my apartment because it was hot in my house and plus it was bright sunny. So I was going through my son clothes that he couldn't wear anymore.

My neighbor was playing on her phone. She said she heard a woman voice at my coffee table then heard a noise in the other bedroom. So I look at her rolling my eyes and thinking she's is just crazy!! I didn't even sleep a wink that night and my neighbor had the nerve to tell me i didn't have the gift to hear spirits.

My mother in law aunt who passed away last year. My mother in law uncle said he heard his wife voice called his name two days after she passed away. He said the dogs started barking then he heard it.

So tell me! Is this all true about spirits? I know we have spirits all around us but what about that particular one?

I am very nervous right now since they say when you do hear spirits that its a warning of somekind. My anxiety is getting the best of me!!! Prayers please!

Yes spirits are real. Usually it is about a month after they passed when they show up but can be sooner if you are in the place where they died.
 They can hang around for several months before moving higher/ further away, but may come back to visit for years.
No need to be worried about this or scared of it. Many older cultures had a form of ancestor or spirit worship, or at least had a day to respect them.

If you are asking for prayers, I assume you believe in god. If you are a Christian or a jew, you may take solace (perhaps) in knowing that nowhere in the bible are ghosts or spirits mentioned as being real. 
It may be different for Muslims, I am not sure about that.

The evidence that spirits don't exist far outweighs the evidence that they do.  Centuries of research has failed to find the most basic evidence or even possibility they may exist. In all of science, there is only one or two fringe researchers still in interested in the subject, but they've produced anything of value.

But what science does know is how easy it is for humans to fool ourselves, and how superstitions arise.

Why don't you take the time to research properly the objective side of the 'debate'? Start at the Wikipedia page and check the resources.

Competent scientists never find any real evidence that spirits exist, except some people call alcohol spirits.

There's not a good rational reason to think so.  Your story sounds like it really is just confirmation bias, kind of a retroactive assembly of unrelated things to make a ghost story.  Auditory hallucinations, or hearing things that sound like voices, are not uncommon.  We have those just as we have visual hallucinations. There are better explanations for those things than ghosts.

Why do you ask "Are spirits real?" and then say "I know we have spirits all around us."??

Spirits are not real, but people who imagine stuff sure are.
