Systemic racism is not just laws.  It is practices and policies. The laws prohibit discrimination.  It is how people actually act.

I lost count the amount of times protestors in my city wanting to let go city officials for reusing to prosecute certain officers for racial injustice,  and protesting the mayor for not wanting to create any police reforms. I also lost count of the amount of times people wanting to let go of trump 

the problem with people who criticize blm is they have very little understanding of the movement and they just react towards a riot or a specific news headlines without actually delving deeper into the motivations of certain protestors .
