(Canada) in the north to the south shore of Tierra del Fuego (Argentina) in the south.  Besides the U.S., there are 34 other countries & 20 principalities.  They have more than 670M people & speak about 1,500 languages.  Canada, Mexico of the various Caribbean Is. are nearest to the U.S.
