We've gone from one extreme to the other. Trump's policies were draconian and isolationism at their worst. So when Biden spoke of tolerance & reform, desperate ppl took that as an open invitation. After only 60 days in office, Biden hasn't had TIME to make any immigration policies, but is tackling the problem now.

I believe our system is currently at the breaking point due to the former administration dismantling our immigration policies, I've read that the former president alongside Stephen Miller dismantled our immigration system thus leading to what is happen now.
