Is it a bad idea to lipsync in Youtube videos?

I want to make a cooking channel where i make recipes using as few ingredients as possible to get a decent result.  I do not have a problem with my voice or seeing myself on camera. My problems tend to be I won't remember what I am supposed to say which trips me up. I wont be doing any actual mixing as it will make filming difficult because if i make a verbal slip up I will have to start all over again. My goal is to introduce myself and what  I will be making. Then I would state the items needed, ingredients needed. Each Step with pictures of how it should look at the end of each step and a plate of the final result.  I was curious if i should simply make an audio recording and then edit in a video with my mouth moving.
