Is Disney setting up for something with the release of Gargoyles figures from NECA?
NECA just out of the blue announced a new line of Gargoyles figures starting with Goliath on March 25. I follow them on Twitter and they said the response to Gargoyles and Goliath was phenomenal. This is a full line. They have five figures completed and more are in development. Goliath releases in July. The board game releases in August.
I have a feeling Disney is setting up for something. Either a live action movie they have in the works or a television reboot. They wouldn’t be doing this if they didn’t have something planned.

Personally I think they would do this without anything planned, they want to cash in on nostalgia. I think they just did a tiny gargoyles cameo in one of the final episodes of ducktales, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything is coming. And if it does, they might make one new gargoyles episode and not commit to a series, networks do that all the time. But yeah it would be cool if they made a new show I just am not expecting it.
