So why would they make a license deal with NECA but turn down Jordan Peele’s pitch? Are they going to watch to see how well the merchandise does before considering a movie, a live action TV show or an animated revival?

NECA just out of the blue announced a new line of Gargoyles figures starting with Goliath on March 25. I follow them on Twitter and they said the response to Gargoyles and Goliath was phenomenal. This is a full line. They have five figures completed and more are in development. Goliath releases in July. The board game releases in August. 

I have a feeling Disney is setting up for something. Either a live action movie they have in the works or a television reboot. They wouldn’t be doing this if they didn’t have something planned.

In Disney Heroes: Battle Mode, PerBlue the game’s publisher, has a license deal with Disney that gives them access to all their IPs including their TV shows but there are some players who only want movie heroes like Ariel from The Little Mermaid and Anna from Frozen. I’m the kind of player who is happy with whoever they do add and I don’t whine because they didn’t add my favorite character. I might be disappointed, sure, but I know I have to be patient. Like, I know I want more Disney Afternoon characters but then there are others who don’t want those characters included. 

PerBlue has said in their Q & A, that the characters have to be approved by Disney and they will not answer questions about who is coming. 

Unlike in Disney Sorcerer’s Arena, where they let players pick who they want to come to the game. That is not the case with Battle Mode. Players don’t get to pick and choose who they want in the game. PerBlue picks who they want to be added. The characters that have been added over the last 2.5 years, those were the characters that were approved. So I am going to watch Disney Wiki and the Battle Mode wiki, for new characters. This year so far the characters are Honey Lemon, Wasabi, The Rocketeer, Dr. Drakken, and Fozzie Bear. I have also learned I need to be careful when speculating too much about the badges I see in the game and about checking the Wiki’s in Facebook groups. A lot of them don’t trust outside sources and have people involved in datamining.

My mom wants me to be serious about losing weight, but I don’t know what serious situations are. I am 5’1 and I weigh 195.

My mom has said I talk too much about dieting, but I show little to no interest in the actual subject. She has tried to help by steering me towards a healthier lifestyle. I’ll talk about dieting but not do it and prefer to eat what I want instead. Maybe I’m talking about dieting because it’s easier and less demanding than actually doing it? My mom has said I talk a good deal but I don’t do it.

When my mom has told me no carbs, I will act as if she is taking it away from me as a punishment and add them back in. But she is really just trying to help control this repetitive behavior and self harm.

I got excited when I realized that the Gargoyles reference was the theme song, “I Live Again!” and the voice of Manny the headless horseman was Keith David. However, I believe the Gargoyles themselves did not appear due to legal reasons. But with the reference, does this mean a reboot is not out of the question? Especially since they announced that a new Gargoyles board game is going to be released in August. With the new board game, are they trying to get renewed interest in the show? Is Disney angling for something? 

The Internet was abuzz when a Darkwing Duck reboot was announced back in November for Disney+ and Disney has not officially announced it. Does this mean they could have turned it down? Articles state that Seth Rogen and Point Grey Pictures are set to produce, but writers have not been hired yet. Darkwing Duck fans were angry towards the choice of producer because of Sausage Party. A lot of fans felt it should have been given to Frank Angones. 

My parents tend to see a lot of coyotes and pigs on the cameras, but very few deer. For this reason, my mom will not allow anyone to kill any deer, including her own family. I understand this is her right as the land owner to limit hunting to pest animals only to get deer numbers up. She wants to get deer numbers up to 25, before we’re allowed to hunt deer. Is 25 a realistic number?
