Why was Disney so dismissive of Gargoyles when Jordan Peele wanted to make a live action movie? Are they worried it won’t make them money?
So why would they make a license deal with NECA but turn down Jordan Peele’s pitch? Are they going to watch to see how well the merchandise does before considering a movie, a live action TV show or an animated revival?
Update:
I meant the Disney animated TV show, not the original movie

Possibly because they'd have to pay off the copyright holders for the original Gargoyles movie.
