How do you confuse a tester with a gun?

I'm talking about the shooting in Minnesota that happened on Monday, April 12.

Update:

I meant taser

You can't make a mistake.  They are in different holsters.  They feel totally different. One is cold steel and the other is PLASTIC.  They are just trying that EXCUSE.

I'm not aware a tester was involved.  Perhaps YOU should read the article.

I suppose it is possible, seeing you just confused "tester" with "taser"

Hard to do - especially when they are worn on different sides

Many have pistol grips and triggers.  In the heat of the moment it can be possible.  However it also looks like a number of protocols were violated.

Hard for anyone to really judge from the comfort and safety of our little, insular worlds how the brain works in a dangerous situation...

That it was a terrible lapse in judgement at the worst-possible time and resulted in what was probably a needless death is not in question.

Perhaps a better question would be would it matter to you if skin color were taken out of the equation?  And if so, could you honestly say the same for all those expressing outrage now?

So then, how does one confuse an opportunity to find real answers with just another opportunity to express feelings rooted in one's own bigotry?
