What’s the midi effect called in Logic Pro X that’s used in a lot of pop songs?
Does anybody know the name of the sound effect that’s used in the background of a lot of pop songs? A recent example I can think of is the keyboard sound in the intro of “The Way You Don’t Look at Me” by Demi Lovato, then you can kind of hear it throughout the song. I’ve been trying to find this particular sound effect on Logic Pro X but can’t seem to find it. If anyone can name any sound effects that are similar it would be much appreciated 😊

I've just listened to several versions of that track & cannot hear anything particularly odd in it.
The intro in one had what could have been a quiet keyboard chord in it, but most have what sounds like someone playing a guitar with a slide (bottleneck) in places and it could equally have been a quiet guitar chord.
Are you thinking the slide guitar is a synth or midi effect?
Listen to the lead guitar in "Freebird", starting at about 35 seconds in to the song, for an example.
Note that most serious DAWs only come with a few effects and you just add VST plugins to get additional instruments and effects - there are vast numbers of VSTs you can add, including many thousands of free ones.
Just search "Free VST plugins" for some examples.
