  • I just hate dealing with emotional people?

My mom is a double pisces (sun and moon) and whenever we quarrel, she will get dramatic and do the crying fits, stomping away, door slamming etc. It isn't anything bad, it could just be a simple argument and i will try to reason with her but she would just stomp away refusing any of it. That will make me mad and it will escalate from there.

  • Have you ever had a love intense?

That you literally cannot get enough of this person, honestly can't live without them and if you can't have them you don't want anybody else. Or believe in it?

People always move on so quickly, without a thought. I feel like they are really just looking for companionship. I always believe that if you can move on its not really a love like I described. I kind of wonder if such a love really exists, or only in storybooks. Sometimes I think fiction gives impossible expectations when I look at reality. Its there really something like that out there? Or am I just stuck in a rut silly for thinking it? Seems to me people don't believe in such anymore. They just want someone on valentine's day and be there for them on bad days - just someone to be there, but don't really feel this deeply for them. Or does all love die down after time?

Sorry for e longish post. I just got to thinking and got kinda carried away.

Bonus q: Do you believe in love at 1st sight?

  • I'm in a dilemma. Help me out?

I've recently learnt that the 5-year-old ban on funding horse meat inspections has been lifted by the US, meaning horses will soon to be slaughtered for consumption. I love animals, so I did some research on that and one thing led to another and i was soon reading on the cruelty behind horse-racings. I was so sad after reading all information. I love animals, really. But again, i am not a vegan. So if i detest horse-racing and against eating horse-meat in additon to many other animal causes, how can i eat meat? I mean i know how the meat industry works and how poorly sanctioned it is, but i like eating meat as i do vegetables. So in a way, i feel like a hypocrite. I stay in singapore so there's no such things like 'cruelty free' meat, at least i don't think i see those kind of meat in supermarkets locally so i can't really say i eat meat of animals humanely treated before their slaughter, although i think my country is quite stringent in enforcing the regulations. What should i do...? Sighs.

I can't go vegetarian and I can't stop eating meat. What should i do?

  • What is e bluetooth range on iphones?

most phones can use bluetooth up to 10 metres, but someone told me iphones has a range of up to 100 metres, particularly for iphone 4s, is this true? It sounds a bit farstretched since most bluetooth has a range of up to 10 metres or bluetooth class 2.

  • Aries/mars: When someone provoke you when you're angry do you get violent?

By violent, i mean violently angry, not necessarily physical violence?

I have mars in aries and i have a terrible anger. I get angry really quickly and kind of explodes, but i'm usually over in a while, and don't really hold a grudge. However when i get provoked or like challenged when i'm in anger, it gets really ugly.. The other person has to give in to me somewhat and i will be okay rather quickly, but i can't handle taunting, challenging or emotional types when i'm pissed because i will explode.

Any mars in aries with a really bad temper?

  • How would these 2 people fare in a relationship?

    Person A:

    Sun: Virgo

    Moon: Gemini

    Venus: Libra

    Mars: Capricorn

    Mercury: Leo

    Sun: Taurus

    Moon: Capricorn

Venus: Gemini (Venus is more important for B since Taurus ruling planet is in venus?)

    Mars: Capricorn

    Mercury: Aries

Or are they better suited as friends? Their sun, mercuy & venus are in trine, which i translates into them having no problems with communicating their thoughts and ideas for the mercury part, and both place high importance on communication and self-expression based on their venuses both in air signs, which means they will love chatting with each other non-stop (esp person B with venus in gemini) and obviously sun signs means they are alike in terms of their goals and individualism.

However in other parts they are opposites, like their moon signs for example. Gemini & Capricorn in moon signs respectively means they will having difficulties each other emotions since gemini is more detached and capricorn needing more resurrance? Also they have the same mars, i read somewhere that its not that good?

  • "i don't trust you as far as I can throw you"?

Should it be "i trust you as far as i can throw you"? I find that it sounds more logical to me since logically, you wouldn't be able to throw someone far, so 'i trust you as far as i can throw you' is logical, whereas "i don't trust you as far as i can throw you" would mean u DON'T trust someone only a little bit since the same reasoning that you wouldn't be able to throw someone far applies too, and hence conversely, you would trust that person more, so wouldn't that be illogical?

so ultimately, isn't the phrase "i trust you as far as i can throw you" more reasonable that "i don't trust you as far as i can throw you"?

  • Using milk instead of cream considered a flan?

If i'm not wrong, flan means custard made with cream right? What if i made a caramel custard with milk instead? Is it still considered a flan? Is flan strictly cream based?

  • Repost: Help me pronounce "Alyssa"?

    1) http://inogolo.com/pronunciation/Alyssa

    2) http://www.howjsay.com/index.php?word=al%E2%80%A6

Which one is the correct pronounciation (at the end of the name) phonetically, or is this name correct either way?

I thought it was the 2nd one, then i listened to dictionary.com pronounce "melissa" which supposedly ends the same way at the end as A-lyss-a, but apparently it sounds a little different. So now i'm confused. Someone good with phonetics tell me! :)
