Migration of African Americans into USA started in the later part of 17th Century. The immigrants were Muslims religion-wise. They were compelled to become christians by their

masters.

Today African Americans are no more Africans. They are

Americans by birth and nationality as much as the white Americans.are. . I wonder what would be the percentage of

Afro Americans among the Afro Americans in USA who follow Islam. which was their original religion..

The exponants of Vaishnavism ( worshippers of Vishnu) as far

as South India is concerned , are Sri Ramanuja-acharia and Sri Madhvacharia. The philosophy of Ramanujar is known as

Vashistadvaida and that of Madhva is Dwaida. Ramanujar is said to have lived around 1100 AD and Madhva 1300 AD. Their philosophies are totally against Sri Shaknkara Acharia's Advaida philosophy.

My question is this, that I do not find any difference as such

in between Sri Ramanujar's Vashistadwaida and that of Sri Madhwa's Dwaida.

Can any one having knowlege of Vedanta Philosophy

explain the difference for the benefit of our members who are

interested in Vaishnava Vedanta Philosophy?

Please correct which one is right

A South Korean Company has introduced a new electronic

product for acupressure and acupuncture therapy . This has become very popular in a few cities in India. Membership

charges are negligent. Treatment time is unlimited. The company

has employed a few youngsters, mostly girls , and through these girls the company organises lecture secessions about the advantages of "Ceragem treatment". The company offers

the product for sale but at the same time it persuades members to join the Ceragem club.

If you calculate the expenses that the company may incur in this

process, it does not look like promoting a business .

Treatment goes on endlessly.

What is the idea behind this.

If any one knows about this Ceragem, please share your experience.

If you issue a cheque,for instance, for an amount of $ 1250/-,

how will you write it in words in the chque leaf - say one thousand two hundred and fifty or one thoudand and two hundred and fifty. Which is correct grammatically? Please

note the " and" in between thousand & hundred.
