    I used FreeBSD 7.0 p-3 i386

    FreeBSD compiles from a text file

    Default BSD kernels do not include sound driver

    Had to enter it manually

    Removed additional network drivers i did not need

    Wireless Card driver was of different atheros chipset had to download hal from madwifi

    Everything works after Recompiling

    Kernel occupies less memory became more responsive

    Recently i recompiled again to include the ULE scheduler (Heard it was better than 4.4BSD)

    Never compiled Linux Kernel before...
