  • How should I rehome my mice?

I got two fancy mice about a month ago and I realize now they're not fit to my lifestyle. Please don't harass me over being irresponsible--I did research and they're living in a large cage and getting a healthy diet of veggies and seed mix daily. The only problem is that they're two tiny, scared little girls and all their care takes me a good forty five minutes each day and I can't bond with them as well as I'd hoped. I did research, but honestly nothing can account for personality types. I'm sure there are bold, playful mice out there somewhere but right now I can't see it in them. And I want better for them than I can provide.

However, I've looked around. None of my friends or relatives want to take them after I tell them how much work it is. I wouldn't want to give them, then have them realise they can't take care of them. Right now, the best home I can find for my mice is my own, and they deserve so much more than what I provide them with.

So how can I get them to a home that will provide for them and give them a happy life?

  • Opinion on hamster balls?

I've been thinking to get one for my Syrian as we wait for his playpen to deliver. I've heard a lot of public debate over whether or not using them is a good idea? Generally, I've been thinking yes. Anything else I should consider?
