Baby Acne and Thresh ?

Baby acne will go away on its own, and there is nothing you can do to get rid of it. My Son had it until he was 6 weeks old. It can last longer, or go away sooner, it just depends. Make sure to keep all oils, creams, lotions away from his face, and just wipe his face with a warm washcloth. It will eventually go away. Make sure to keep formula/or breastmilk away and off the face, this can contribute to the acne when the baby gets it on his chin or cheeks. As far as Thrush goes, that will need an anti fungal medication, best to ask your Dr.

There isn't anything you can really do for the acne it's just a part of being a baby. I would just wipe his/her face down with a damp wash cloth to get the sweat off. If your talking about thrush your gonna have to get a prescription from the doctor.

With thrush its an infection and needs antibiotic. Watch the amount of sugar intake to prevent it best. Nursing babies its fairly common

With baby acne, my daughter had ALOT of it. Just wash her face twice a day (with NO soap) and after a while it just fades on its own. She still has a lil bit.

For thrush-- take her to the doctor to confirm the diagnosis. They will probably give you either Nyastin or Dyflucan to get rid of it. To be honest though, neither of those medications worked for my baby. I used gentian violet, which you can buy at some drugstores (I orgered mine online at walgreens.com) and it cleared it up very quickly. (But be careful it is messy!)

Baby acne just wash the face with water and it will eventually go away, it is just a phase.

It will go away over time. I wouldn't try and put any cream over it, because your baby's skin is sensitive, and dont want any further beakouts. Just wait 3 days to a week, and it should disappear. Its normal

its not baby acne, its just a normal stage they both of my kids went through for a short period of time. the doctor gave them something for eczema. not sure on the spelling of that. but ask him about it, and while your there, ask him for some liquid Nystatin for your babies mouth, if your breastfeeding you will also need to apply it to your brest so that the yeast does not transfer back and forth...

Do you mean thrush? Thats a yeast infection of the mouth. Does your child have white spots in his/her mouth? If so, he/she needs an antifungal to get rid of it, so take them to the doctor!
