OK so I paid this lady to do my taxes and she added withholdings that I did not have what do I do to fix this?

These issues and delays are related directly to a new fraud detection and prevention filtration system holding more refunds than anticipated and more returns are being impacted than originally projected by IRS.

The IRS has worked to correct this error and so they now believe refund timing, for all refunds will be on the following schedule:

•Select returns were impacted on the very first day of processing beginning on 1/17/2012.

•Refunds from that first day which were expected on 1/23/2012 may not have funded yet.

•Updated information indicates affected returns filed on:

•1/17/2012 are expected to fund on 1/30/2012.

•1/18/2012 are anticipated to fund on 1/31/2012.

•1/19/2012 are anticipated to fund on 2/1/2012.

•1/20/2012 are anticipated to fund on 2/2/2012.

•1/21/2012 are anticipated to fund on 2/3/2012.

The IRS is currently experiencing federal tax refund processing delays that are affecting all tax preparation methods, not just TurboTax.

As a result, the original estimated federal refund date provided to you may have changed. Your state refund is not affected.

The most updated information is available through the IRS "Where’s My Refund?" tool. Make sure to wait 72 hours after your return is accepted by IRS to check your refund status.

At this time, the IRS expects to process refunds in 7-14 days from acceptance.

Good morning so like many I checked WMR and was upset that my refund had been pushed out by 2 weeks. I just called the IRS and spoke to 2 different agents. I was told that my date has been changed because of the hundred of thousands of refunds ln backlog she advised that it's just processing and they are pushing most dates out a week or two so people can relax. She also said they are not holding returns waiting on W2's from employers but they are swamped with early e-filers so we all just have to wait. Also she said WMR updates daily at midnight but only if there is a change to you refund status. I'm like most I need my money NOW but there is nothing I can do but wait. Building this helps

I e-filed on the 5th (yes I had my W2) with TT it was trasmitted on the 13rd but I am still in a pending status. I have been filing with TT for years and never seen or had this issue. I contacted the IRS and they have no record. Has anyone else had this issue. Thanks for your assistance.

My Grandmother (age 64) has stage 5 pancreatic cancer that has spread to her liver. Her oncologist told us last week (Friday) that he does not want to continue on her Chemo (gemcitabine). He told us that there was nothing else that he could do to prolong her life. At this point I am not sure what to do. I am her Medical POA and her Durable Power of Attorney. Should I start planing her funeral? In Feb 2010 he told me and my mother that with treatment she had a survival chance of 4-6 months but without treatment only 2-4 months. I am just at a loss right now and not sure what to do. Any advise or suggestions.

A family member took out a loan with Chase bank. I aid this person with their bills and I've called Chase in the past and made payments for this family member. Now this family is ill and is in the hospital (dying of pancreatic cancer) and she is behind on the bill. Chase keeps calling me demanding money. I've told the the situation and they I am not driving the car. They have called me a lie, sent people to my job and my son's father house. I have asked them to stop calling me and to leave me alone but they will not. I live in Tennessee is there anything I can do to get them to leave me alone!!! Do I have any legal recourse for this harassment?

Ok so I am planning on having the gastric bypass surgery and I have to be smoke free for 30 days and remain smoke free after the surgery. Has anyone stop smoking on here. What did you do to stop smoking? How long have you been smoke free? Thanks

Ok I filed my 2010 taxes on Friday Jan 15th via HR Block at home (online e file) now the website stated that it would take 24-48 hours for the IRS to receive my taxes but as of right now they have not. Has anyone else had an issue with this?

My Grandma was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer on yesterday. I am not sure at what stage she is in we are waiting on her doctor to get back with us. She has moved in with me and my 16 month old son (we love having her there) She is very depressed and I am trying to get more info on this cancer and the life expectancy rate. I am also looking for some advice on how to make her more comfortable as far as pain control and some good vacation (relaxation) ideals. Thanks in advance.

Ok mom's I need help. My son Cayden is 10 months will be 11 months on August 4th and will not not sleep in his crib. Yes Yes Yes I let him sleep with me this entire time. I know I should have put an end to it awhile ago but now it seems like an impossible task. I will let him fall asleep and the lay him in his crib but when he wakes he just screams at the top of his lungs. Now when he is bed with me and his dad, if he awakes in the nigh he will just lay there and play or will reach for his bottle and go back to sleep. My husband and I are ready to get back to married life but this seems imposible. Is there any advise out there. Thanks

Ok so this is my first child and I just have questions. All he does is sleep all day and part of the night. He will not sleep in his crib nor bassinet, only on the couch. Also he is eating every 2 hours 3oz of milk. Is the normal. Is he took you to have a little cereal in his bottle? He has had his check up at the doctor and is very healthy. Any advise from any moms out there. Thanks
