So I'm looking for a good beginner's gun?

I'm thinking about purchasing a pistol in a few months, and I'm wondering what is a good gun aroung 500-750 dollars, that's good looking, and that's easy to shoot. Any ideas. And where should I go to learn the basics and the laws

I think one of the best guns in a Glock Model 19. The new ones have build in finger grips, the trigger pull is always the same length and it's rugged. A good rule for buying a gun is that you may one day want top sell it. So stick with Glock, S&W, Beretta or Sig. You can get your price for it when that time comes.

You should be able to get a fairly decent pistol for that price. At least the last time I looked that was about what they cost. Look for something that feels good in your hands, something fairly common so you can look up procedures for operation and maintenance. Beretta 92S or 92F is a good 9mm, 1911 Colt is also good, but some people preferr to change out the hammer. Ohh I almost forgot, Glocks are very common too.

you could take a corse, maybe a gun saftey. a pretty commen gun would be the 9mm, but i just got a .25 caliber pistol, and it's a really nice looking, good shooting. small caliber gun, or a .44 is also a good choice, and which the bullets are compatible with the rifle.

Your best bet would be to take a Conceal Carry Course in which they teach you everything, from the laws to actually shooting a weapon. They would also be able to advise you which would be the best pistol to use for you since you are a beginner. Good luck!

buddy you dont need to be worrying about buyin a firearm if one of your chief concerns is that its "good looking" GET he hell outta here!

are you going to be doing some modeling with that firearm or are you going to be usin it for some damn self defense?

if youve never shot a weapon (and it sounds like you never have) what alot of folks recommend is that you go to the gun range and RENT to find out what works for you. amazingly, the gun range offers training and educational classes to boot.
