Can someone explain what is 待ちあがれ??
I hear that a lot when watching Ranma 1/2,
I know it means wait but what is the extra あがれ for?

It could be 待ちやがれ(machiyagare) instead of 待ちあがれ(machiagare).
やがれ >> やがる is a verb suffix indicating hatred and contempt, or disdain for another's action

Soph answers excellently. In Ranma's case, he is just a rough speaker. I think he simply doesn't like to speak politely without much bad feeling.

ããã(agare) = Rise, go up, become.
å¾ ã¡(machi) = Wait, expect, hope.
So å¾ ã¡ããã could mean something in the sorts of: "Wait to become", "can have waited for". It really depends on the context of where the word is being used.
