今日は午後見えるはずだった患者さんが、一人来られなくなりましたから、三時なら空いていますけど。?

今日は午後見えるはずだった患者さんが、 一人来られなくなりましたから、 三時なら空いていますけど。

Can someone explain to me this sentence? It doesn't make much sense to me >.<

Here's how I interpret it so far...

There was supposed to be a patient whom I'm supposed to see this afternoon, but he couldn't can't alone. So I'm free at 3pm.

Is my interpretation right? Why do they use 見える instead of just 見る? o.O

Your translation is almost right, just need slight modifications.

There was supposed to be some patients whom I'm supposed to see this afternoon, but one of them cancel reservation. So I'm free at 3pm.

見える in this context is a respect form of 来る.

I hope this answer can help you.
