How do you say "I almost forgot" in Japanese?
I've been wanting to say this for quite a few occasions but don't know how to in Japanese.
e.g. *You suddenly remembered that you have an errand to do tmr* Oh, I almost forgot, I have to do [errand] tomorrow.
How do you say "I almost forgot" in the above context in Japanese?

I think is most natural these way:
あっ、もう少しで忘れるところだった!
"Ah, mou sukoshi de wasureru tokoro datta!"
or just:
あっ、忘れるところだった!
"Ah, wasureru tokoro datta!"

Hi. We Japanese don't use tongue to pronounce. When I went to an English school in New Zealand, I was taught how to pronounce differently between 'R' and 'L', and between 'B' and 'V', and 'th' and etc. It was hard for me, and as I'm no longer in New Zealand (sadly) I have to practice more and more.
