How to phase this nicely in my thank you letter?
How to phase this nicely in my thank you letter?
Just had an interview and would like to send a thank you e-mail. The job sounds perfect and I am very keen on getting the job. They told me that there would be a 2nd interview if I am shortlisted for it.
I want to say something like this : this is an excellent job opportunity with I can't wait to get started. How can I phase this nicely without sounding desperate?
Thanks Napkin face.
Can I say -- This is an excellent job that has got me all excited and I am convinced that I will be able to contribute to the company quickly.
How does this sound?

"Dear Mr..........
It was a pleasure meeting you on ###DAY###.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you on considering me for this excellent job opportunity.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely
###NAME###"
this is how you could phrase it as a quick short email.
don't mention the "i cant wait to get started" part as it sounds like you are desperate for the money, which in turn implies that you are in debt. which isn't good.
fill in letter with the guys surname, the day you were interviewed (say Thursday instead of 11/05/2012 as it seems more natural.) and then end it with your full name, first name and surname.
