Apparently, no one figured out you're referring to motorcycles, such as British machines, and some other European equipment.

I'm not an Old Timer. But, yes, I do remember my '68 (old, even then) Triumph "Thunderbird" 650/single Amal carb; and her RH shifter. Carb needed tickling to start.
I also remember the suicide shift on my '47 WLA ( again, she was old even when I got her.,)

That's exactly backwards of what I was taught over 50 years ago and is backwards of the way I drive today

How about the high beam activator located on the far left of the floor that you pressed with your foot
