Can Naptha be used to fuel gas generators?
My old Corolla would work on Coleman fuel in a pinch.- which is Naptha I believe. Naptha stores indefinitely - can I run my generac 7500E gas generator on it?

Coleman camp stove fuel is a very low octane white gas. It has an octane rating of around 50 to 55. While your generator MAY run on something that low, it won't preform properly, and MAY cause some long term problems. READ the owner's manual that came with the generator and use the fuel(s) that are recommended by the manufacturer.
