  • Where should I take the wife for a romantic weekend?

I am trying to put alittle weekend getaway together for my wife and I's 3 year anniversary and would like alittle input on where to go. I have a few places in mind, but cant decide. We live just north of Atlanta and dont want to drive more than 4 hours or so. I was thinking we can always just stay local in atlanta, but would like to do something different. We can go to the smokey mountains, but again done it a million times. I also thought of the biltmore estate, but I figured that would cost an easy $1000 and thats more than I want to spend for the weekend. The only place that I can think of that neither of us has been is Nashville. I thought this would be great b/c my wife loves country music and is a southern girl, but I would like some input on the city and what there is to do in Nashville or If you can think of another city that I have not mentioned please let me know. I need some ideas! I always try to plan something, but have had so much going on lately. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

  • Im having problems with my 02 tacoma, can anyone help?

I have a 2002 tacoma 2 wheel drive. It was overheating very quickly, so I assumed it was the head gasket, well I was wrong. It is still doing the same thing. After only 10 minutes of running the water gets so hot it leaks out where the water pump connects and you can here the water just boiling away. The lower radiator hose that goes into the bottom of the motor also shrinks and swells from all of the heat. Also if you take the oil cap off of the valve cover there is tons of back pressure and it spits oil out at you. Could the head be cracked? Or does it sound like I need to rebuild the motor? Any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • Can direct tv get away with this?

Direct tv charged my wifes account $866 for an old account that was in my name. The reason they said they took the money out of her account is b/c the last payment on my account was made with her bank card. Can they do that? Her name was not on my account and my name is not on her bank account. I know when I sign a contract I allow them to do this and so on, but she never gave them permission to use her account. People help other people out all the time by paying a bill for them, imagine if this came back on you for helping someone. She is going to the bank in the morning to try to dispute it through them. She never gave authorization. What they did is looked up an old check and got the routing number, isnt't that fraud? To make things worse. Rent is due in 5 days and we are leaving for vegas in 8 days. Luckily I have great family members that are willing to help us out. Direct tv is not wanting to hear any of it. I googled alittle and found several others having problems with the as well. Sorry to rant and rave, but I just needed to vent b/c I have not had a smoke in 9 days and I felt like I was going to explode, but feel better now.... deep breaths....................10 points for best answer

  • can you believe michael jackson died?

Children around the world are celebrating! No, but for real the king of pop is dead? Now thats crazy. Shows what stress can do to the heart and I imagine he had tons of stress. Seriously though if you look back at him as a child it is hard to believe that a child could be that talented. He will be missed

  • Should I take my wife to a spa while in vegas?

Going to vegas in a couple of weeks for my wifes b-day. I've already made a few plans, but still have alot of open time. Im thinking about taking my wife to a spa one morning and letting her have a spa day. I might use the fitness equipment or something at the spa while she gets a service done. My question is: Is it worth going to a big resort spa (thinking about mandalay bay) or will I be better off at a mid range spa? Another question is which spa would you choose?

  • How much money do I need for 4 full days in vegas?

My wife and I are going to vegas for her 21st birthday. We are arriving saturday july 4th around noon and departing at 12:30 on wednesday july 8th. We already have air and hotel booked and payed for, we are staying at Paris. I also already booked and payed to see Mystere. The only other thing I have planned is reservations at emerils new orleans fish house. We are not big gamblers and plan to spend around $300 or so on gambling, but besides gambling what would be a good amount to bring to ensure we have a blast. Emerils will probably be as nice of a restaurant as we will go to. Other than that we will probably hit the buffets, delis, and food courts. We are not big drinkers or club goers as well. I am planning on bringing about $1500, and 500 on reserve on the cc, but want to make sure this will be enough. Also if anyone can recommend any places to eat or other things to do or places to go, please your input is greatly appreciated.

  • Can someone help me plan my trip to vegas?

I am taking my wife to vegas for her 21st. We are arriving july 4th and staying 4 nights. I booked a room at the Paris, but want to make sure this is a good choice or should I cancel and book somewhere else. We are flying from georgia and this will be our first trip to vegas and our first time flying. We dont need anything extravagent like wynn or venetian b/c we dont plan on spending that much time in the room, but dont want to stay at a dump either. As far as shows go, Im not sure what to do, we have never seen a cirque show, but have been to le grande cirque in myrtle beach, which seems to be very similar to mystere? So should we just check out some of the other shows or is going to a show even necessary? I dont want to have reservations during the whole trip and feel like we are on a schedule, but I dont want to miss out on everything. As far as eating goes, we will probably do buffets, food courts, and deli's and maybe go to mon ami gabi and emerill's new orleans fish house (Im from new orleans). Hotel and air will be payed for and Im planning on bringing around $1500 to $2000. Does this sound good

  • what are the must see shows in vegas?

my wife and I are giong to vegas next month and are 21 and 24. We are looking to go to a few shows. I know I want to see one cirque du soliel show, but not sure which one. Im debating between mystere and zumanity, but also want to see blue man group or le reve. Would I be better off just seeing zumanity and mystere and not worrying about the others? Im just not sure which way to go. I think Im for sure going to mystere, but cant decide between blue man group and zumanity. I know zumanity is alittle more intiment and sexual, but we are both pretty open.

  • Are these shows worth seeing?

I am taking my wife to vegas for her 21st in July. I know I want to see atleast one show. I have been doing research online and have found tickets to the blue man group for $42 and Mystere for $66. From the research I have done it seems these 2 shows should be very good, but I want opinions from people that have been to them. I can also get cheap tickets for ka, love, and zumanity, but I believe bmg and mystere will be the best bet? Any opinions? Im also wanting to see an adult show such as fantasy or peep show, and input? From what I can find these are very good prices for bmg and mystere, so Im guessing I need to book asap. Also are there any "bad" seats in either show or all the seats pretty good?

  • Is it worth taking a day trip to L.A. area from vegas?

My wife and I are going to vegas in July for 5 days and was wondering if it would be worth taking a day trip to beverly hills and los angeles or would it be a waste of time. I wasn't sure how great it is or if its really worth the drive and renting a car about $80 for the day plus gas, etc... The main reason I was considering it is b/c we live in georgia and have never seen the west coast or pacific ocean. Thanks for any input.

  • Where is the best place to eat on the vegas strip?

I am taking my wife for her birthday during the week of july 4th. I want to take her to atleast one nice restruant that I cant go wrong with. Im know of a few such as emerills delmonico steakhouse, spago's, eiffel tower resturaunt, but dont know which one to choose. She hasn't ever really been impressed with a nice restraunt and dont really care for "fine" cusine, nor does she try new things often. She is just a country girl that didn't get out much, she loves italian, mexican, and your traditional american food, so with that said, where should we go? If you know of another place that is very romantic, let me know. I am looking to spend less than $150 for the 2 of us. Thanks

The main night Im considering is saturday night july 4th. I know tryst, pure, lavo, tao, and prive are some of the best, but what is the best.
