I emailed a salon recently about allowing me to rent a space to do makeup for clients. It's an all hair salon but I told them that it's a good idea to have someone who can makeup there to bring in more clients. They called and the receptionist asked me a few questions like what days I want to work and if I'm looking for full time and part time. And a few other questions. I asked her if I had a choice between leasing a space or splitting commission and she said she didn't know that I would have to talk to the manager about it and she would call me later. She called me today and asked for me to come for an interview later on today.

So my question is, if they offer me to rent the space or split commission, which is the better choice? Keeping in mind that I'm a makeup artist and they generally make less than a hairstylist per week.

I've heard that if you split commission, you get payed hourly which I didn't know. If I rent the space I get to keep all my money and I obviously wouldn't get payed by them hourly. If you've worked in a salon or know anyone who has, do you get payed hourly if you split commission? Or it depends on the salon? I appreciate any answers I can get. =]

Do you need to have some kind of permit to apply makeup to people in the street? Like give makeovers to people for free or for a small fee? Like a permit or ask for permission to the store we do it out side of? Thanks.

I'm trying to set a picture in the middle of my youtube video and I heard that if you set it in the middle of video it shows up as your still image. At what time should I put the picture? Thanks

My puppy recently got parvo so I took her took her to the vet to get treated and was there for over a day. My family brought her back home and we're giving her alot of fluids like pedialyte and water. Is there anything else I can do to get her thru this? She still seems a little tired and won't eat. My vet said this was normal but I want to make sure she's not in danger anymore. Also I'm afraid my other puppy might have gotten it too, She started vomiting a little bit. My dad will not pay for the treatment for her assuming she did get it. Is there any way we can treat her at home? Thanks in advance.

I got a piercing on tuesday and the right side of my upper lip swollen. I've used boiled water and salt because I heard it works but I don't think it really helped. I also put ice on it but Im not seeing a difference either. Is there any home remedy or even a medicine or pill I can take. Its my birthday on saturday and all my family and friends are throwing me a party and I don't want to look horrible. Thanks in advance.

Just had an interview with macy's today and they told me to come in for a second interview on wednesday. What do they ask you? Do they make you demonstrate anything for example how to sell a product to a costumer. Oh and its for a cosmetic counter job. Any answers will be greatly appreciated.
