What are some quality, not so expensive spark plugs?

The spark plugs that come in the engine from the factory are the best ones you will get. I believe they are NGK's. Why risk it. If an 8 dollar NGK plug comes out, don't put in a 2 dollar Champion.

Always use parts that are designed for the car and always try to get them from the dealer. Using inferior parts can lead to wasted fuel and general drivability problems.

Geshtal is correct about not purchasing inferior parts you need to get E3 spark plugs they are a performance spark plug (better than what I pulled out of my Toyota) I put some in my 98 Toyota corolla and it was a huge up in both mileage and power they are not by any means a cheap plug but Japanese cars are very touchy about there plugs if you pulled one and it did not have at least 2 (probably 3) electrodes then it was not stock they call for good quality spark plugs you can pick them up online for about 6 bucks a plug believe me you get your money back in your MPG

remember they come pre-gapped so make sure you get the one for your car

There's no such thing as quality and cheap. I believe your car does well with NGK or Denso spark plugs. Iridium plugs will last very close to 100,000 miles. They are the original equipment spark plugs for your car. Do not substitute ignition parts for anything of lesser quality. Don't forget new ignition wires. MSD is the best money can buy.

Go to: autopartswarehouse.com to shop for spark plugs. Forget: Bosh Champion and Pulstar.

Use the same NGK or Nippondenso spark plugs that came in the car as original equipment. Stay away from any fancy V-this or Quad-that uber plugs with big advertising budgets and especially stay away from anything made by Bosch. They work fine in German cars, which yours ain't.

I see way too many drivability problems from people using non-OEM spark plugs.

I put Bosch Ir Fusion plugs in my Accord. It made my car run great compared to before. The plugs were about $8 a piece but well worth it since they are made to last 100,000 miles and I got a good performance gain. I also like NGK Iridium ix plugs too. The iridium plugs are worth the extra money cause they will last you 2-3 times as long.

The best plugs for your car are NGKs or Densos...do not use walmart plugs...Japanese cars like Japanese engineered plugs...if it requires platinum or iridium use them...spend the extra money because you will get it back in better fuel mileage...also do not use bosch plugs...they will not hurt your car but they wont give you the same performance as the Japanese plugs...they work best in American cars and European imports Good Luck

Only NGK. I use NGK Iridium plugs on my 2001 Civic LX (we have the same engine) and they have lasted a good 70,000 miles and still are performing well. They are about $5 each.

i could never go away spark plugs interior the engine for many then 75K miles, even even though it quite is going to final over 100K miles. it quite is going to weld it self into the pinnacle and could be hell removing it. in my opinion, i could in simple terms replace all at 50K miles. i could follow OEM spark plugs (MOTORCRAFT) purely, different spark plugs won't artwork nicely on Ford motor vehicle.

Walmart has good ones... It's about 2 dollars or so for 2 spark plugs.

Bosch spark plugs are best for foreign cars.
