Looking for office admin work but rejected ,?
Interested in office admin work but I keep getting rejections. "We are looking for someone with a wider scope of experience/ more relevant experience". I have done support roles for at least 9 years but office admin for 2 years( in charge of a small company- 2 staff). Now, I am looking for wider job scope in a bigger company but to no avail. How to I get this type of experience if everyone is rejecting me and not giving me the opportunity to prove I can do the work?
Sometimes, you don't get the chance to say more in the interview. If you apply through employment agencies they only send CV to their client. There is a outright rejection.

Given your work history, it's more a question of you making that connection obvious. You might be downplaying what experience you have, or not stressing its relevance enough.

How are you writing your cover letter? As small as your last office was, you must have been an important person–holding it together. You must be experienced in using certain software–did you mention it? Was there are time that you saved the business from falling apart because something happened? Did you remember a very important details no one else did and that may have made the difference in make a break a business deal?
This is the sort of thing do need to convey to them so you can land a proper interview.
