  • External hard drives not showing up under my computer?

My psp memory stick and ipod have recently stopped showing up under my computer. They are both listed under device manager and I can even see them under disk management.

I've tried assinging them a letter but I keep getting an error that says I need to restart to enable it which doesn't work. I know the wire is fine, I use the same wire for my camera which works fine.

I've tried connecting them to another computer. Now this computer shows them in "my computer" but when clicked says they need to be formatted and asks me to do so. This computer also shows it under device manager/disk management but has a letter assigned. I've formatted my psp memory stick yet it's still the exact same thing.

    Any ideas?

  • Constant depressing dreams?

For the past month or more I've been having dreams that I am back in high school, its senior year and I'm doing horrible and in the danger of failing and not graduating. It's pretty depressing, and I can't really control my dreams well, and wake up all sad.

Well, I am almost 21, and I don't feel like I did as best as I could have during high school but I wasn't anywhere near to failing and not graduating or anything like that. I wonder what it means and how I can make these dreams stop, because they just are SO extremely depressing.

I've tried thinking of other things, reading a little before I go to sleep, but I still get these depressing dreams

  • Alcohol Carding at grocery store?

My bf and I go to a grocery store to buy foods. He gets some booze for himself. I'm not 21 (I'm 20). When we get to the checkout, the checker asks him for his ID. But then asks me for my ID. Apparently both people have to be 21 to get the alcohol, even if I'm not the one going to buy it or anything of the like. I didnt have my ID on me anyways.

They said it was policy. How would this work with a parent there with their teenage son or daughter? It's only happened at this one particular grocery store, we can still go to ANY other store and both not be carded.

What do you think of this?

  • Disconnecting problems while playing cod4?

When my bf and I play cod 4, after a game or two it will disconnect both of us from the internets. Both our computers are connected to the same router, my comp is connected by WiFi.

We used to play World of Warcraft together, and never got disconnected like this.

Is it the router or the game? How can I fix it?

  • Dog, vomiting, mucus in poop, etc?

Hi this question is about my bf's dog. Basically he has a sensitive stomach, so we put him on sensitive tummy dog food two days ago. Today he poo'd a bunch of mucus-ey covered well poops. and then proceeeded to throw up in the garage twice (his vomit was yellow, bile?). I'm really worried about him, and need to convince my bf to take him to the vet soon, I cant take him myself since we just moved here and I dont have a car etc. He eats his food a LOT, lot more then usual, because of my ferret, hes always afraid hes going to eat it.

His food wasnt slowly transitioned to the food hes eatting now. I wouldn't be so worried if it was just the pooping but hes throwing up after? Is there anything I can give him to make him feel better? I've never had a dog, so I know nothing >.<

  • Deaf Ferret rough housing?

I got a ferret a few weeks ago. Just one. He's deaf. It's still a kit, plays around a lot etc. He loves to play! Sometimes he bites really hard while hes playing. It's easy when hes biting us to tell him no, or stop etc.

But my concern is lately, my dog has been playing with my ferret, and the ferret gets really rough with him. and lately hes actually been playing really rough with him and biting him on/beneth his eye lid to the point where my dogs starts to wimper in pain. Now the ferret doesnt know he's hurting him... how do I make it known to him to stop hurting him so much or stop being so rough with the dog?

Scruffing doesnt seem to work, if anything he just gets more excited. And I really dont know how efficent saying no is...since he's deaf. Also, giving him time out doesnt work, again he just gets pissed or whatever you may want to call it.

Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Should I get a non deaf Ferret?

    Hello.

Just recently I purchased a Ferret (from petco..yesturday). Today I found out it's deaf, I had my suspicions yesturday after bringing him home, but wasnt certain. I made noises behind its back, even had my dog bark a LOT outside the rooms door to see if it'd get his attention. Nothing.

This is my first ferret, I want to train him well..I want him to be able to come to me when I call him etc. And considering this is my first ferret to train...I dont want it to be a huge huge huge huge challenge. I figure it'd be easier if he wasnt deaf? But I dont know...A part of me wants to keep him because I'm somewhat attached but i have my worries. Also the fact that he doesnt get freaked out or is really quiet might also be a plus more then anything..

He falls a lot, stumbles a lot, seems a bit drunk sometimes but i realize their depth perception is really bad anyways.

I guess my real question is, for a beginner ferret owner.. is it ideal to purchase/adopt a Non deaf Ferret?
