  • How to heal my injury properly?

    Last year in september I pulled my hamstring tendon and muscle. I took about 25-30 days off of no running. The pain went away but it came back 8 weeks ago. The muscle healed but not the tendon. I found out that the tendon didn't heal properly. It's the bicep femoris just under the butt. What should I do? I've been resting. Any stretching or exercises would be helpful to get this injury to heal properly. I have no swelling and just as good flexibility in the healthy leg. Thanks!

  • Do I have a muscle knot?

    My hamstring doesn't hurt when running or when I'm done. It just feels like a knot. I have no swelling or anything. I don't feel it when I stretch it. But after I stretch 2 or 3 seconds after I let go I feel a slight pain. This leg has the same flexibility as the other. I have massaged it a lot and hurts sometimes. I went to the trainer at my school and she said that it's just really tight but I don't believe that's everything. It's just below the butt. What are some stretches for the upper hamstrings. Thanks!

    Im weight lifting I did a hamstring workout on monday. My hamstring tendons feel sore. I can stretch as far as I usually can. When I massage my tendons they feel sore. I am a runner so I don't want it to effect me. They don't hurt when I run really.
